Awesome Paul. Though I don’t know what Gretchen, my vegetarian blogging partner in crime, will think about the in-n-out. I love it though.

Do I have to pay the $6 Grand??

  5. Paul Says:

The price for yours is $6,626.34

Also, I thought GK liked the grilled cheeses at I-n-O. She’ll be fine.

…Almost. You also need a benzene ring on there somewhere 😀

  9. Paul Says:

I’m just glad you guys accepted the comic sans numbering and the “short” shorts.

This is pure awesomeness all around. Thanks for the C&EN kit!

  11. J-bone Says:

Will you also be designing basketball jerseys? I’d be more interested in that than a soccer starter kit.

I must say, In & Out is good, but I don’t understand what makes some people so rabidly devoted to it. Burgers are good, I think the fries are average, and so are the milkshakes (and people SCREAM about the fries and milkshakes). Maybe I’m a snob.

  12. excimer Says:

it’s because in ‘n out’s food is better than any fast food burger chain out there? With (maybe, MAYBE) the exception of Five Guys. Maybe. I like in ‘n out’s fries more than five guys’ though.

  13. Paul Says:

I-n-O is good, but vastly overrated. IMO, their burgers don’t justify waiting 30 minutes in a drive-thru queue.

  14. Chemjobber Says:

excimer, how would you compare Culver’s to InO?

  15. excimer Says:

no compariston. Culver’s burgers are way too greasy and their fries suck.

  18. Chemjobber Says:

@Paul and @Hap: lawl and I bow at your superior humor. (Still chuckling.)

@excimer: Really? I find Culver’s ButterBurgers to be equal to InO, but maybe I’m just crazy. My wife and I did a taste-off with many of the local and fast-food burgers, and we found InO to be the best.

  19. Chemjobber Says:

uh, when we were in San Diego, that is.

  20. Matt Says:

InO beats 5 guys. The fries at 5 guys are better in general. Their burgers are expensive and don’t have the taste I expect them to have. For the price (in comparison with InO) they should be better. I miss having the InO around the corner from where I lived. Smelling those onions being grilled every day …. mmmmm. InO is all about the taste balance. They just get it right for me. Now … if 5 guys were like Pie’n’Burger (in Pasadena), there’d be no question. Unfortunately, that’s what I expect every time I walk into 5 guys.

I únderstand I have to login once more before I read all the crap I’d written

but where is it ? and where is my t-shirt ???

  22. excimer Says:

There’s this diner chain all along the 101 that has the BEST milkshakes ever. I went to one in SLO like ten years ago and had the best peanut butter milkshake of my life… and I haven’t been back since. Now I can’t remember for the life of me what the place was called… anyone know what I’m talking about?

  23. Paul Says:

    Last one: Pipeline Rovers

  24. J-bone Says:

This is what I think of when I think of 5 Guys.
